Last Sunday
was Mother’s Day in France
& my sons have surprised me with this yummy little dessert with chocolate
coated teddy bear marshmallows & chestnut cream filling! I must say that I’m very proud of my sons
that took all the trouble to make this for me .
They even took more than 50 pictures of the step by step how to make this goodies so that I can share it on my blog! LOL This is indeed a wonderful surprise!
Usually they’ll bake for school parties, mainly because they wanted to
impress some of the girls in their class .
LOL They found this recipe from a children magazine Les Petit Chef . We don’t know what to call
this delight & my friend Sam has came up with a brilliant name for this dessert ,Chestymallow . An awesome & amusing recipe that I’m sure
children would love to make & not forgetting eating them too!
Jane Austen moment in Persuasion
Chapter 7
"Altered beyond his
knowledge." Anne fully submitted, in silent, deep
mortification. Doubtless it was so, and she could take no revenge, for
he was not altered, or not for the worse. She had already acknowledged
it to herself, and she could not think differently, let him think of her as he
would. No: the years which had destroyed her youth and
bloom had only given him a more glowing, manly, open look, in no respect
lessening his personal advantages. She had seen the same Frederick Wentworth."So altered that he should not have known her again!" These were words which could not but dwell with her. Yet she soon began to rejoice that she had heard them. They were of sobering tendency; they allayed agitation; they composed, and consequently must make her happier.
